James embarked on his financial career in 2009 as a stock broker with one of the top five brokerage firms in the US at that time. Shortly thereafter he spent four years as Director of Investment Operations for a $750 million endowment in St. Louis, Missouri. Concurrently, he earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. As founder and President of Fruitage Financial since 2016, it has been a true joy for James to do for individuals in a more individualized way what he helped do as a stock broker and for the endowment. He would love to assist you in getting your financial house in order and help you achieve your financial goals.
Life hasn't been all work, however, as the past twelve years have been chock full of getting married to his sweetheart Julia, having three great kids, and getting settled in Northern Colorado. Outside of work and family, James is a hiker, a tech aficionado, and a huge fan of country music, live concerts, and summertime getaways to Buena Vista, Colorado.

Julia has spent a lifetime nurturing and caring for those around her. She graduated college with an Environmental Studies major and a fascination for all things amphibian (making our two years in Florida - before moving to Colorado - a perfect locale!). She returned to her home state of California after college to spend time teaching kindergarten and nannying for several young families (great training for her role as a mom to three young, active children). She returned to her alma mater to take on the role of Student Activities Director where she excelled in engaging the student body and breathing new life into that program. Along the way, she met James, got married, and stepped away from her professional career to stay at home with her children. Now, however, she lends her hand to Fruitage Financial’s clients, spear-heading holiday mailings, new baby celebrations, and more. Fruitage Financial is incredibly blessed to have Julia and her talents on our team.

Rosmarie is Fruitage Financial’s Chief Administrative Officer. She has a wealth of experience (pun intended), including over fourteen years in private wealth management office management, years of customer service experience before that, and is a quick study when it comes to new processes and workflows. Rosmarie has proved to be a wonderful resource to Fruitage Financial and its clients.
Besides working, Rosmarie is blessed to be the mom of two accomplished young women, and one wonderful son-in-law. She loves running races - half and full marathons - around Southern California (and more recently, Colorado!), and is a wonderful addition to her church and its worship team.
